Relativistic Striped Winds from oblique magnetized rotators have magnetic fields in a wide angular sector around the rotational equator which are striped: they form a frozen in spherical wave which is advected with the flow. Each stripe is seperated by a current sheet, composed of the relativstic beam which carries the star's return current. The directions of these currents alternate, giving rise to counter streaming in neighboring sheets. I show this inhomogeneous counterstreaming is unstable to current filamentation, with physics related to that of the Weibel. instability. I show the instability occurs in the inner wind, estimate its saturated amplitude and the consequent anomalous resistivity, and use the results to discuss the decay of the sttriped field (conversion of flow from high to low Sigma) as well as pulsed and unpulsed radiation which might arise from the inner wind.
