Spherically symmetric time-dependent relativistic hydrodynamic equations and radiation moment equations are derived by applying conservation law in covariant form to the radiation stress tensor. Also, various radiation moments in different frames are rigorously defined and their transformation law derived. This tensor approach is simpler and easier to understand compared to other formalisms in the literature. The steady-state version of the equations are shown to be equivalent to the first two moment equations from Thorne's (1981) projected trace-free tensor formalism and Castor's (1972) first-order equations in comoving frame.
