Rubidium Atomic Frequency Standard, Step Recovery Diode, Microwave Multiplier
Scientific paper
A high-order microwave frequency multiplier is designed by adopting the step recovery diode for a passive rubidium atomic frequency stzandard. The debugging result shows that the input signal frequency is 90 MHz; the order of multiplication is 76; the output signal frequency is 6840 MHz; the output power is -18.2 dBm; the rejection ratio to the adjacent harmonics is 28.75 dB. When this multiplier is linked with the rubidium atomic frequency standard, the close-loop locking can be relized. Thus this multiplier satisfies the needs of miniature passive rubidium atomic frequency standard.
