Bianry offset carrier (BOC) modulation is the key to the new signal form which has been put forward for GPS. In this paper, the definition and spectrum character of BOC modulation are introduced firstly; then a method of implementing BOC modulation based on FPGA (field programmable gate array) hardware platform is presented and the simulation waveform is given. The results indicate that this implementation method is worth advocating.
