We propose to study the X-ray emission from the coronae of two powerful, nearby (z=0.02) radio galaxies in poor environments, 3C 442 and 4C 11.71, in order to study the hydrodynamics of the jet/ICM interaction when the radio power is large and the ambient pressure low. This study will provide a necessary contrast to the well studied radio galaxies in dense enviroments such as M87 and Per A. In poor environments, the lobe expansion should remain supersonic longer, the scales should be larger, and the timescales shorter. Based on their radio morphologies and luminosities, both of the these galaxies should be strongly interacting with their environments. Long exposures are required because of the poor environments.
