We observed the field around the position of the optical/IR counterpart (Covino et al., GCN5234, Oates et al., GCN5243) of GRB060607 (Swift trigger 213823) with the Russian-Turkish 1.5-m telescope (RTT150, Bakirlitepe, TUBITAK National Observatory, Turkey), at the beginning of June 08, about 19.77 hours after the burst. A series of frames was taken in R band with TFOSC. The afterglow is not detected on combined image with 1500s total exposure.

Using USNO-B1 star we estimate the limiting R magnitude for the combined frame as R_lim~22.6
