We have analysed thirty granitic rocks for chromium by neutron
activation and find a good correlation with magnesium. "High calcium"
granite rocks average 16 to 22 p.p.m. Cr and "low calcium" granitic
rocks average 3 to 4 p.p.m. Cr, depending on the method of estimation.
