Polarimetry in the visual wavelength region was presented for 63 stars in 31 wide physical double and multiple star systems. Evidence was found indicating possible time changes in polarization for the stars HR 1161 and theta 2 Ori B. For separations less than about 10,000 AU, the differences in polarization parameters between the stars in a pair were of the order of the observational uncertainties. This allows a lower limit of about 10,000 AU to be placed on the microscale, where the term microscale is defined as the characteristic separation over which changes of .0010 or greater in the polarization parameters are observed.
