The lunar profiles given by Watts (1963) and Weimer (1952) were used to determine limb corrections for a series of lunar occultation observations carried out with the aid of a double-image micrometer. Limb corrections based on the Watts and Weimer profiles lead to an average dispersion of the measurements of 0.26 arc seconds in the case of the Watts profile and 0.35 arc seconds in the case of the Weimer profile. A difference between the adopted radii of the reference curves, ultimately related to a displacement of the center of the reference curves, was detected and used to calculated corrections to the elevations given by Weimer.
