Microwave absorption has been computed in the frequency range 21-117 GHz for the Venus atmosphere in the height range 0-85 km. The various coefficients like total absorption, the absorption coefficient at peak resonance frequency and the half-width of absorption line have been calculated for all the important constituents (O2, H2O vapour and CO) of the Venus atmosphere and a comparison has been made with values of the terrestrial atmosphere.
