Sample high-resolution spectra of Jupiter's decameter radio bursts are analyzed in terms of their modulation lanes, or repeated diagonal ridges. The slope of these diagonals, which may be positive or negative, is a function of the System III central meridian longitude of Jupiter. It is concluded that polarization diversity does not occur as a rule in the spectra of modulation lanes.
