We investigate particle accelerators in rotating neutron-star magnetospheres, by simultaneously solving the Poisson equation for the electrostatic potential together with the Boltzmann equations for electrons, positrons and photons. Applying the scheme to the Crab pulsar, we demonstrate that most of the pulsed photons are emitted from the outer magnetosphere and that the predicted phase-averaged spectrum is consistent with the observations between infrared and very high energies. The predicted spectrum shows a gradual turnover in 10-50 GeV, forming a striking contrast with the polar-cap model, which predicts a steeper turnover due to magnetic pair production. Therefore, GLAST will give us a meaningful constraint to discriminate the accelerator models, viz polar-cap or outer-gap models.
