We present an analysis of the spectral emission of Fe XIII between 195 and 210 Å. The Fe XIII lines in this wavelength range are sensitive indicators of plasma density below about 1012 cm-3. Thus solar spectra obtained using the Cosmic Hot Interstellar Plasma Spectrometer (CHIPS) and the EUV Imaging Spectrometer on Hinode, which both cover this wavelength region with high spectral resolution, provide information on the plasma density. In order to test emission models used in the analysis of these observations, we performed high-resolution laboratory measurements at a density of about 1012 cm-3. The laboratory data thus test the calculations at their astrophysically high-density limit. A comparison to model calculations based on the CHIANTI data base showed excellent.
