Some substellar companions to target stars in our radial velocity planet searches have periods much longer than the program's 10-15 y baseline. Since waiting for these objects to complete an orbit may be impractical, we have developed techniques for constraining their orbital elements with incomplete orbital information. These techniques have allowed us to identify new brown-dwarf companions, new exoplanets, and new multiple-planet systems.
