Magnetic holes, small-scale enhancements of the magnetic field strength ("magnetic humps"), and trains of enhancements and depressions in the magnetic field strength have been observed in the heliosheath in the interval from DOY 1 to 311, 2005. Magnetic holes are observed throughout the period. Magnetic humps are also observed, but less frequently than magnetic holes. Trains of magnetic depressions and enhancements were observed in at least three intervals, with a duration of approximately 1 to 4 days, when the average strength of the heliosheath magnetic field was high. The changes in the magnetic field strength in these trains are large, of the order of a factor of two, and the variations are aperiodic.
