IceCube is a large neutrino telescope under construction at the South
Pole. Building on experiences collected with the Amanda detector, this
detector will be deployed until 2010. To investigate possible future
extensions to the EHE-energy regime, acoustic test strings will be
deployed in the season 2006/07.
