We present a simple geometric method for constructing stationary, axially symmetric solutions in gravity. The method is based on the potential space formalism and the assumption of holomorphic potentials. As examples, rotating solutions including the Kerr Newman Taub NUT solution, the Gal'tsov Kechkin solution and the Israel Wilson Perjès-type multi-centred solutions in Einstein Maxwell theory and low-energy effective string theory are derived in a manifestly dual symmetric manner.
