In this study the ejecta distribution of the Jurassic/Cretaceous
Mjølnir Crater (Barents Sea) is numerically simulated. These
simulations show a highly asymmetrical ejecta distribution and underline
the importance of the presence of water in ejecta formation and
distribution.
