We derive a set of differential equations governing the non-static stellar structure. An approximating mathematical solution of the governing equations provides the theoretical base for pulsating stars. We examine a mechanism based on General Relativity for generating periodical gravitational wave, and propose that some pulsating stars as possible sources of periodical gravitational wave.
