Formulas are derived for the distribution of the number of observations and the relative amount of time spent at given altitudes and angles from periapsis for bodies under the influence of a central force. The remote observation distribution function is calculated for a spin-stabilized earth satellite. Derivations are made of the stationary-remote observation function, the on-site distribution function in true anomaly, and an on-site distribution function for hyperbolic orbits.
