Radio observations are discussed for 3.7 and 11.1 centimeter wavelengths of four supernova remnants (G11.2 - 0.4, G21.5 - 0.9, G29.7 - 0.3, and 3C391), an H II region (G45.5 + 0.1), and a radio galaxy (3C386). The supernova remnant G21.5 - 0.9 has an elliptical brightness distribution and is similar to the Crab Nebula and 3C58 in appearance. The two remnants G29.7 - 0.3 and 3C391 both showed a broken shell structure typical of most galactic supernova remnants. The observations of the radio galaxy 3C386 revealed an extended double source and an unresolved source at the nucleus with a steep nonthermal spectrum. An analysis of galactic supernova remnants shows that there is a relationship between spectral index and z-distribution. Remnants with flat spectra were found at greater distances from the galactic plane on the average than were the remnants with steep spectra. The difference in z-distances was attributed to a population difference between flat- and steep-spectrum remnants.
