Up to now, little attention has been paid to the decyphering of a message received from an extra- terrestrial civilization. It as been either assumed it will be easy due to the anti-cryptographic content of the message, or that any signification would be lost in the noise. In practice, an intermediate situation may arise where the anti-cryptographic nature of the message will be deteriorated by the noise. In such circumstances, some information about the message could be recovered by the use of statistical tools. We will present a software toolbox specially developed for a rapid analysis of data.
