We have obtained a Chandra ACIS-I image of the low amplitude Cepheid Polaris. The Cepheid itself is part of a 30 year binary Aa + Ab. Among the other nearby stars, C and D do not have X-rays and hence are not young enough to be physical companions of the Cepheid. B is a likely companion (Kamper, 1996, JRASC, 90, 140), but is too hot (F3 V) to produce X-rays. X-rays are found at the position of the Cepheid Aa + Ab. The spectrum is very soft (kT = 0.65 keV), more appropriate for a supergiant than a main sequence companion. We will discuss the likelihood of the source being the Cepheid or the recently resolved F7 V companion (Evans, et al. 2005, BAAS, 37, 1169). We will also discuss other X-ray sources in the field.Funding for this work was provided by Chandra grant GO6-7011A and the Chandra X-ray Center NASA Contract NAS8-39073
