Crystal deficiencies in semiconductors with diamond-like structures
influence the relative intensity and position of the X-ray reflections.
Changes in the degree of crystal deficiency in cadmium mercury
tellurides may be evaluated from the profile of the X-ray reflections,
the basic characteristics of which are half-width and asymmetry.
