Broadband (B filter) optical-continuum observations of the X-ray binary
X Per during October 30 to November 1, 1985 show a variability with the
period of an X-ray pulsar. The amplitude of the variability is about 0.8
percent, the period being 13.911 + or - 0.004 min.
