The most probable ray paths in a statistically homogeneous isotropic medium with anisomeric inhomogeneities are determined using a model of a medium where the refraction coefficient is close to the mean value equal to unity. The results of the study show that under natural conditions, the propagation of a wave in a statistically homogeneous medium with ellipsoidal inhomogeneities may involve not only a deviation of the polar angle due to the effective refraction of the medium but also an azimuthal deviation of the path. The magnitude and the sign of the deviation of the angular coordinates of the most probable ray paths from the coordinates of nonperturbed paths in a dissipation-free medium depend on the attitude and the elongation of the inhomogeneities, the azimuth, and the angle of elevation of the path.
