In the paper "Was HV 8005 (NSV 213) a Nova?" by E. V. Kazarovets, N. N. Samus, M. L. Hazen, D. B. Williams, and D. V. Denissenko (JAAVSO, 2004, 32, 108-109), there is a misprint in the coordinates of the image found on the Bruce plate of September 26/27, 1929. The correct coordinates are 00h 34m 39.s1 -67° 58' 27'' (J2000.0). All the conclusions are based on correct coordinates and remain unaffected. Also, the field of Figure 1 is 8' x 8', not 15' x 15'. The authors apologize for these mistakes and wish to thank Brian Skiff for turning our attention to them.
