This paper reviews recent measurements by the D0 and CDF collaborations in
pbarp collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV of W and Z
boson production cross sections and asymmetries. Results from both experiments
for the search of the Higgs boson predicted by the standard model in four
different decay channels are also presented.
