A high gain, low noise corrugated feedhorn was designed and developed by
JPL for use in Very Large Array (VLA) antennas, near Soccoro, New
Mexico. The new feedhorn will enable the VLA to support the Voyager
encounter of Neptune in August of 1989. This will significantly enhance
the receiving capability of the United States for that historic event.
