Observations of the J=2-11 and J=10-9 transitions of cyanoacetylene in the ground and the V7=1 vibrationally excited state towards Orion/IRc2, W51A, and Sgr B2 are presented. In W51A, 2 sources of vibrationally excited emission at the positions of the H2O masers, IRS2 and W51e are detected. The vibrationally excited emission in Orion peaks within 2" of IRC2. Excitation temperatures greater than 150 K, in agreement with determinations of kinetic temperatures are obtained. The vibrationally excited emission in Orion and Sgr B2 are 12"x = or less than 10" and 14x = or less than 10" respectively. The excitation temperatures and sizes can be explained by radiative pumping.
