Sensitivity of superrotation to diabatic heating below the cloud layer is investigated in the present study. We can find a bifurcation of the general circulation in the parametric simulations. The fully developed superrotation in the lower atmosphere is not formed under the condition that the heating below the cloud layer is weak. As the unknown driving forcings of the Venus lower atmospheric superrotation, some additional heating or/and momentum source should be also considered in Venus atmospheric modelling.
