In the present paper, measurement data obtained simultaneously by Molniya 1 and Cosmos 650 are used as a basis to study the nonuniformity of precipitation of 1 to 5 MeV solar protons into the earth's magnetosphere during the magnetic storm of July 4 through 6, 1974. The temporal behavior of the proton intensity near the equatorial plane and at a height of 1400 km is plotted and discussed.
