Data on the asymmetry of galactic cosmic rays in the period 1969-1980 are reviewed. Particular consideration is given to mean monthly values of asymmetry amplitude, variations of asymmetry amplitude as a function of proton energy, seasonal variations of the asymmetry of proton fluxes in the period 1976-1980, and mean monthly values of asymmetry amplitude for proton fluxes with energies exceeding 30 and 90 MeV.
