A search for delta-Scuti stars and other variables in open cluster is in
progress, and results for the cluster NGC 6192 are reported. The
statistics for a number of open clusters on the frequency of variables
in the instability strip is presented. There is increasing evidence for
a change with age of the fraction of variables.
