The V-Ni-Co variation trend of Roberts Victor eclogites is toward the enrichment of vanadium at the expense of nickel with relatively little change of cobalt. The systematic V-Ni-Co variation together with petrographic evidences suggest that Group I and Group II eclogites from Roberts Victor Mine were most probably formed by fractional crystallization.
