The HST will be used to obtain high-resolution UV spectra of the lines of sight toward Epsilon-Ind and Lambda-And. These lines of sight were previously observed by earlier instruments. The Goddard High Resolution Spectrograph will make the D/H values toward these lines of sight much more reliable. Thus, the D/H value for the Local Interstellar Medium (LISM) will be known with much more accuracy. This is a crucial measure- ment needed to determine the Baryon/Photon ratio and hence the ultimate fate of the universe.
