LIEs are usually produced by short (about one sec) bursts of energetic electrons precipitated from the radiation belts in the process of amplifying whistlers. If both the amplitude and phase perturbation of echo Trimpis are measured at each receiver of the array, holographic methods can be employed to reconstruct the 2D image or map of the causative LIEs. It is demonstrated that, for a single system of one transmitter and a receiver array, this permits high resolution (about 10 km) in the azimuthal dimension only.
