The abundances of Ru, Ir, Pt, Pd, Rh, and Au are presented for the ejecta layer at the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary and melt rocks from East Clearwater Lake, Brent, New Quebec, and Lake Wanapitei impact craters, all believed to have formed by the impact of chondritic projectiles. The objective of the study is to explore the general utility of platinum-group element (PGE) ratios for several impactor identifications and to present new data for the less often analyzed PGE, such as Ru and Rh. It is found, in particular, that ejecta deposits may be as good as melt rocks for impactor identification using PGE.
