Unruh temperature is calculated for one degree of freedom from a reduced density matrix using two coupled harmonic oscillators on the spacelike hipersurface t = 0 in Minkowski spacetime, where one oscillator lies in the region x > |t| and the other one in the region x < |t|.
Quantum source of entropy for black holes is reviewed by modeling Unruh temperature from entanglement thermodynamics for one degree of freedom.
Finally possible effects of event horizons over fields are discussed.
