We present a Virtual Observatory data service which delivers uniformly formatted data from multiple, distributed Heliophysics data providers. This main goal of the service is to mitigate the formats problem, which, simply put, is that Heliophysics data is stored in such a diversity of formats that working with multiple data sets can be difficult. Our service offers "doubly uniform" access in which there is 1) a uniform API for accessing any data set, and 2) a uniformly formatted result for each data request. The format uniformity extends into the scientific semantics of the data, so that all science data sets with the same science content can be directly compared because the service resolves all trivial differences (fill values, time representations, vector representations, etc) between datasets. The design of the service is discussed briefly, with the focus then being on the data request API and the format/layout of data obtained from the service. Finally, the connection of this service to the Virtual Modeling Repository (VMR) and other Virtual Observatories will also be mentioned.
