A statistical method based on the unnormalized integrated pair-counts of
objects is used to detect typical scales in various samples of galaxies
and clusters. For all samples there exists a scale of ≡60
h-1Mpc which can be interpreted as the typical scale of the
separation between superclusters, or the typical size of voids.
