This paper presents a method of determination of the photoelectron distribution within a plasmaspheric field tube which is a mixing of analytical and numerical 'two-stream' methods. The magnetosphere crossing can be considered in this method as a single step in the computation, which allows a self consistent determination of the distribution within the whole tube without problematic boundary conditions at the ionosphere-magnetosphere boundary and without any iterative process. Application examples are presented (albedo problem, interhemispheric coupling) and the comparison with more complex methods is excellent.
