On the basis of measured equivalent widths of selected absorption lines in the F5-K0 spectral range, the criteria of stellar classification are developed by spectral class and absolute stellar magnitude. The equivalent widths are measured on spectrograms obtained in the Cassegrain focus of the 2 m telescope. Six criteria were used for determining the spectral classes. In order to obtain the absolute magnitudes, four criteria were used. The mean square error depending on the selected criteria is + or - (0.5 - 0.7 m). The procedure can be used for two-dimensional quantitative spectral classification of nonstable stars of different types.
