Particle-Theory And Field-Theory Models Of The Early Universe, Theory Of Quantized Fields

Scientific paper

We study the tunneling process in the presence of gravity. By
perturbation on both the dynamical and background gravitational fields
in the action, we are able to derive the tunneling rate from first
principles. Our result is in agreement with the conventional result.
