für Theoretische Physik, Universität Regensburg, 93040 Regensburg, Germany für Theoretische Physik T39, Physik-Department der TU München, We present selected results from recent lattice QCD calculations of moments of quark helicity flip generalized parton distributions (GPDs) and transverse spin densities of quarks in the nucleon. Our dynamical simulations are based on two flavors of clover-improved Wilson fermions and Wilson glue. The large number of datasets for different values of β and κ allows us to study scaling violations and the pion mass dependence of our results. We find significant contributions from some of the quark helicity flip GPDs, giving rise to strongly distorted quark densities in impact parameter space.
