From narrow-band and broadband spectra of Ba hollow-cathode discharges obtained with the aid of a Fourier-transform spectrometer, branching fractions are determined for five moderately excited levels and between the IR lines originating in the resonance level 6s6p 1P(0)1 of the neutral Ba atom. By combining emission measurements with lifetime and absortion data taken from the literature, transition probabilities are derived for 13 visible and 16 IR transitions as well as upper limits for the A values of 15 additional IR lines. The resulting transition probabilities cover five decades.
