Scientific paper

Coronal holes contain episodic jets that rapidly add discrete amounts of
mass and energy into the corona. Jets may play an important role in
several key aspects of coronal physics. We use a combination of X-ray,
UV, and visible light imaging to probe the jet plasma, and we trace
polar jets from the reconnection sites to the fast solar wind.
