Novel solutions are presented for the Laplacian and Grad-Shafranov
operators in toroidal coordinates, for which axisymmetry is a realistic
assumption, that are suitable for gravitational and plasma problem
studies. The simplicity of the solutions by comparison to those of Morse
and Feshbach (1953), is emphasized.
