For the International Year of Astronomy (IYA), the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP) has developed a suite of programs designed to extend--if not to infinity--at least well beyond 2009. Ongoing plans for the IYA Discovery Guides (outreach materials for amateur astronomers and others), the Galileo Teacher Training Program (professional development for formal educators), the Cosmic Clearinghouse (online resource links), informal efforts, and other IYA initiatives will be discussed with an eye toward sustaining them if not infinitely, then at least indefinitely.
