We investigate the time dependent radiation signatures expected from jets of microquasars. For this purpose, we have developed an analytical solution to the electron acceleration and cooling problem along the jet, and have used this to evaluate the time-dependent electron and resulting photon spectra. Results of a parameter study relevant for the parameter range expected in typical microquasar jets is presented. Emphasis is put on the expected appearance of such systems when oriented at small viewing angles (``microblazars''). A special case study for the case of the Galactic microquasar GRS 1915+105 is presented.
